Overpopulation – the Biggest Threat to our Planet’s Survival
The director of the US Central Intelligence Agency, Gen. Michael Hayden, when asked to pinpoint which issue was of most pressing concern to him, said that the most troublesome threat facing the US and the world today is not terrorism or global warming, but overpopulation, especially in the poorest parts of the planet.
The rapid growth of the world’s population, according to Hayden, may lead to fueling further instability and extremism, along with exacerbating worsening climate change, and making fuel and food much scarcer. Population, Hayden argues, is considered the prime multiplier for all types of human ills.
Birth Rates Are Spiraling In Poorer Countries
Leading social and economic analysts worry that the sudden rise in global food and fuel prices is raising concerns that the planet does not have the means to produce the same amount of food it needs to consume, even with the use of new technological innovations. As we are all aware that the planet has its limits, it’s increasingly becoming obvious that if we can’t reduce the level of CO2 discharge in a planet that currently has 6.8 billion people, how much better can we do this when the population exceeds the current levels?
It’s worrying to note that while population growth has considerably gone down in some European and East Asian countries, it’s continuing to spiral out of control in most of the developing world. For instance, in countries like Japan, more women are finding more professional and personal fulfillment beyond having children.
Countries such as Uganda on the other hand, have birth rates going out of control, and the population is fast rising at 3.6% annually, which is the highest in the world. What’s worrisome is that, the subsequent bursting population will turn poor and struggling countries like Uganda into political and environmental cases, with violent consequences reverberating globally.
Funding Programs to Enable Women to Have Greater Access to Family Planning
For policy planners, the central question still remains: what should we do to curb overpopulation? While some would loathe at the option of giving governments control over birth control policies, analysts argue that there shouldn’t be any need for government interference.
The solution towards effective population control, experts agree, is to hand over to women key family and birth control concerns. It is already happening in some societies where women have a direct role in regulating the size of their family. This should happen, population experts note, as long as women are put in charge of determining their family sizes as well as over their reproductive health concerns.

Characteristic of Colours in Relation to Planets in Astrology
Astrology, a science to identify the celestial with the mundane things, in cognizance of this fact, had assigned gold for the Sun, silver for the Moon and so on purely on their colour similarities. Various colours have been ascribed to planets thus: Orange or Gold colour to Sun, Red for Mars, Dark Blue for Saturn, Green for Mercury, Yellow for Jupiter and so on.
Though a conclusive assessment of a person’s positive and negative qualities can not be made chiefly relying on his likes and dislikes to certain colours, yet its importance in total evaluation cannot be lightly dismissed. Realizing this aspect, the Astrologers had made frequent references to colours in their works. According to them, the wearing of red kumkum on the forehead by our Hindu women, symbolizes Mars who rules blood. A particular gem or stone is also assigned to a planet on the basis of similarity of colour. A person’s penchant towards a particular colour can be attributed to strong influences of a planet.
According to Astrology, the `colour-consciousness’ of a person can be fairly gauged by the sub-lord of Lagna, the disposition of Lagna lord and planets aspecting Lagna cusp. More than one planet reveals the modifying shades of a colour. To take an example: a Thula lagna native with sub-lord Saturn, lord of lagna posited in Kataka in the star of Saturn, would naturally prefer light blue colours since Venus in Kataka will surely dissolved the strong blue of Saturn. Now a question may arise. Will a person whose natural preference is light blue like that only hue all through life irrespective of change in circumstances and vagaries of taste? Logically the answer is that since the dasa lord is a prime factor during the period of its run, any amendment, alteration or modification in one’s choice may be traced to the dasa lord and its constellation lord. This gives a clue as to why a person who has been preferring cream and yellow colours during Jupiter dasa has slowly started liking darker shades with the advent of Saturn dasa.
Now I shall broadly study the characteristic of a few colours with reference to their respective planets:
RED (Mars): A vigorous and forceful colour depicting a man of action, adventure and boldness. More of brawn than brain. On the positive side, red-lovers are upright, bold and face the challenges of life with vigour. On the negative side, it makes them impulsive, vengeful and fool-hardy.
MAROON (Modifying shade of red): Represents strength with stamina. A colour of warmth and cooperative effort. Suffers from moody spells.
PINK (Modifying shade of red): A very popular colour especially for bedrooms, drawing rooms and lounges. Think Pink is a slogan of a Hollywood comedian. Pink shows love and willingness to help others. True pink is a delicate shade and people who respond to its vibration get easily hurt though they recover readily.
GREEN (MERCURY): Adaptable to circumstances. Both sentimental and sympathetic. Fond of companionship and inclined to take life easy. If beset by failure they try to wallow in self-sympathy and put the blame on others.
EMERALD (Modifying shade of Green): This strong green raises adaptability to the status of adventure. Emerald-lovers make the most of the opportunities coming in their way.
OLIVE (Modifying shade of green): A weak colour representing a person who shirks responsibilities and tries to find excuses. Lovers of this hue need lot of cajoling, encouragement and support to goad them into action.
BLUE (SATURN): True to the nature of its ruling planet, this hue indicates moods and sentimentality. On the positive side, blue gives some measure of devotion, a certain self-sufficiency and deep and far reaching thoughts.
NAVY BLUE (Modifying shade of blue): A dark shade of blue depicting faithfulness and constancy of purpose. Reliability trust and strength characterize this shade. (Probably that is why this colour is preferred by the Navy).
SKY BLUE : A lighter shade of blue. Lovers of sky-blue now and then descend to the depth of dejection and then rise up to the heights of cheerfulness. Even in company they some time feel lonely, and worrying over trivial seems to be a hobby with them.
VIOLET (Associated with VENUS): a SOOTHING AND HARMONIOUS COLOUR. Violent admirers often have taste towards literary, artistic and dramatic works. They are imaginative and creative. Turning fantastic into reality is their common objective. They develop a liking for mysticism. They influence others easily. On the negative side, violet-lovers assume a sort of self importance. Being blind to their own faults, they avoid criticism. They like to live in their own world of illusions and often draw self satisfaction out of it.
PURPLE (Modifying shade of Violet): High thinking, sense of superiority, Empty grandeur, are some of the traits of this royal shade.
WHITE (MOON): Often considered a symbol of purity. They are sincere and fair to others and understand others with sympathy. People who are fascinated by the vibrations of this colour often like to live an orderly life (whether they do it or not) and change their ideas to the changing times in order to keep in tune with life. On the negative side they tend to be over critical.
GRAY (Modifying colour of white): A deceptive and uncertain colour indicating persons who appear to be indifferent to circumstances but definitely a calculating and cool opportunist. Gray lovers exhibit caution often resulting in wise moves.
BLACK (RAHU & KETU): Highly formal and conventional Black vibration exhibits great understanding. Devoid of false prestige, it shows dynamism and purposefulness.
ORANGE or GOLD (SUN): Proud and self-esteemed they impress and influence others easily and become a centre of attraction. Ambition of some kind drives them along and neither love nor sentiments can distract them from their purpose. Popularity and success appeal to them very much and they will leave no stone unturned to come to limelight. On the negative side, they sometimes lack warmth and override all opposition with uncanny cunning and genius. Their conceit often narrows their outlook.
YELLOW (JUPITER): Yellow in its full bloom denotes intellectuality. It speaks of a scientific mind that overcomes ignorance. Lovers of yellow shades are often sought after for their practical wisdom and constructive counseling. They inject confidence, encouragement and cheerfulness. Having been endowed with broad vision, they plan everything on a grand scale. They are benevolent and take applause and abuses with equanimity. They also tend to develop religious and philosophical interests as they advance in age.
Having seen a panoramic view of the characteristics of colours in relation to their respective planets, I should like to submit here that an interesting horizon is awaiting fruitful researches in the field of colourology. The day is not far off when just like gem therapy, colour-therapy can be effectively developed to off-set certain mental ills and deficiencies.
Astrology, if suitable researches are made in this direction, can really offer useful suggestion based on planetary colours to infuse courage, cheer and confidence in our fellow being.

Some Planets Of The Solar System And Their Importance For The Horoscope
As we all know already, the planets play a major part in everything when it comes to astrology. If we think about the fact that the zodiac and the horoscopes are the most important fruits of astrology it’s easy to see that the planets and their position are a huge determinant of the zodiac signs’ characteristics. Every zodiac sign has a certain planet’s mark upon it and this is how every horoscope, from free daily horoscopes to love horoscopes, succeeds in describing your individuality correctly.
The fourth planet from the sun, Mars reigns over the horoscope Aries, the first house and the seventh house. It is a symbol for the need to grow, for the progress, generally speaking. The natives are full of energy, tenacious and pretty tough. Mars also symbolizes action, strength, vitality and instinct. Jupiter is the governor of the native Sagittarius and the native Pisces, the ninth house and the twelfth house. Jupiter was the leader of the gods, in the ancient Olympus, and it now symbolizes great expectations, the will to travel and find out new things and the healthy, strong rationality.
The planet that rules over the native Capricorns and the native Aquarius, the ninth and the eleventh house is Saturn. Through its masculinity, it symbolizes the scientific spirit, the pessimism, stability, patience and good manners. If Saturn leads your individuality then your weekly horoscopes will let you know that you are patient, melancholic, exposed to great pain and suffering but also disciplined and ambitious.
Uranus, the ruler over the native Aquarius and the eleventh house, is an exterior planet, and it more influences the generations, as wholes, rather than single individuals. It is a symbol of friendship, freedom, unpredicted and suspicion. Imagination, the bizarre, the extravagance, science, the future, technology and great metaphysical talents are all related to Uranus. The natives are progressive, they like to be known as out of the ordinary and they sometimes get selfish, nervous and inefficient.
Neptune, the reigning planet of the native Pisces and the twelfth house, is feminine, and, as Uranus, its influence runs over generations, and not individuals. Its meaning usually refers to areas like universal sub consciousness, glow, mystery, magic and dark sciences. When it comes to their love horoscopes, the natives are romantic, naave, obsessive, they have some major self destructive tendencies and they usually drown themselves into chaos.
The last planet of the solar system and the farthest from the sun is Pluto. Pluto is the governor of the horoscope Scorpio and of the seventh house. Its slow motion gives it the highest influence on generations, greater than Neptune’s or Uranus’. Its meaning is related to transformation, destruction, renaissance and power. The negative veil covers the world with crime and death, and it’s a symbol of the underworld. The natives are arrogant, jealous but also very smart, devoted, mysterious and bohemian.
What all these planets along with astrology, horoscopes and the zodiac teach us that the understanding of the universe can never be separated from the understanding of one’s self.

The Origin of Stars, Planets and Us
UK science teams are working on several missions that search for evidence of our origins in the depths of space.
Space telescopes like Hubble and XMM-Newton look out at the furthest reaches of space, collecting light from the youngest galaxies. They will be joined in the future by the Herschel Space Observatory, the James Webb Space Telescope and the Planck mission, all gathering evidence on the origin of the Universe, stars and planets.
Spacecraft also look for clues about the origin of life. Hubble can detect molecules of life on planets outside our Solar System, while Cassini Huygens and Rosetta seek answers by visiting our neighbours in space.
The ExoMars mission will visit Mars with the UK-devised Life Marker Chip (LMC), built to detect evidence of life under the surface of our nearest planet. Each new mission and every fresh discovery brings us closer to a better understanding of who we are, where we come from, and — ultimately — what the future might hold.
The Big Bang
The Big Bang is the only widely accepted model of how the Universe has developed over time. Astronomers have observed that the Universe is expanding and cooling. The crux of the Big Bang theory is, if you could turn the clock back, then earlier in time everything would have been denser and hotter. And the further back you go, the denser and hotter things get.
The theory’s name seems to suggest that the Universe started with a huge explosion. This is a misconception. According to the Big Bang model, the origin of the Universe was not an explosion of matter into already existing space – but the very beginning of space and time.
So why the name Big Bang? It was originally given by detractors to mock the theory and is a bit of name-calling that stuck!
Stars, planets and us
Observations and simulations have helped astronomers understand how star formation led to the formation of planets and even life itself.
The origin of stars
As the early Universe expanded, raw energy condensed into matter. Gas particles were pulled together under gravity to form clouds, called nebulae. Within these nebulae, the dense areas continued to grow ever denser under gravity, spin and heat. Eventually, the enormous pressure caused nuclear fusion to begin and stars were formed. This is how our own Sun began.
The origin of planets
The Hubble Space Telescope has captured images of planet-like disks around young stars. This leads us to believe that planets are formed from the debris of star formation. Left-over particles of gas and dust are bound together under gravity to form rocky and gaseous bodies around the star.
The origin of life
In the very act of living — and dying — stars fuse hydrogen to create all other elements in the Universe before returning them to space. This includes carbon, oxygen, calcium and all the elements that make up the molecules in our bodies. In the words of the late astronomer and former science fiction writer Carl Sagan: “We are all made of stardust”.
Theories about the origin of life on earth are being tested and explored through a number of BNSC-backed missions:
Rosetta is on its way to study a comet up close. It is believed that much of the water on Earth was brought here by comets, so it is possible that the complex organic molecules that formed the basis for life also came from cometary debris.
Cassini Huygens visited Saturn’s largest moon, Titan. This moon has an atmosphere similar to Earth’s when it was a young planet. By studying Titan, scientists hope to gain an insight into how life might have first become established on Earth.
The Aurora programme will help establish if life originated on other planets. UK scientists are developing the Life Marker Chip (LMC) instrument for ExoMars. This will look for signs of life below the surface of Mars.

The Most Accurate Daily Horoscopes are Those From the Transiting Planets
Daily Horoscopes Produced from the Transiting Planets are
The Most Personalized Horoscopes
They Show You How They are Working in YOUR LIFE…
These give you the most personalized daily horoscopes around.
Looking for answers as to why you feel so different on a day to day basis? One day you feel…and the next….
Sad, depressed, negative (saturn transit)
Excited, happy and optimistic (jupiter)
Mad, angry, spoiling for a fight (mars)
Passionate – turned on (mars and venus)
Obsessive (pluto)
Loving, nurturing (venus, moon)
Spacey, can’t concentrate? (mercury/neptune)
Changes from out of the Blue (uranus)
When a transiting planet makes contact to one of your natal planets there is a release of energy. This energy influences you on a daily basis and creates the emotions and events that occur in your daily life. Emotions and events can come FROM you or they can come AT you.
When people read their daily horoscopes in the paper they’re based solely on the sun sign. You and millions of people have the same horoscope for that day. Well, there’s an even better method, and it is specific only to you.
The day you were born, the first breath you took, all the planets the sun, moon, and the angles stood still and created the entity that is YOU, your birth chart. Since that moment however, the planets kept on moving – all at different speeds. On a daily basis one or several make an aspect (an angle) to one of your natal planets, and depending on the planet making the contact, and the angle, will depend on the type of energy released.
Transiting Saturn squaring/opposing any part of your chart most likely will create a feeling of sadness/blues/negative thinking. However, when it is making a more harmonious aspect you will feel more stable/productive/get organized and clean out those closets and balance your checkbook kind of feeling.
Transiting Mars is the one to look out for. When squaring or opposing any planet/angles you may feel a bit of anger/frustration/accidents/arguments/road rage/ etc – and it can be either from yourself or from someone else. On the other hand, when it is in a harmonious (trine/sextile) aspect you will feel a burst of energy/passion/productive get things done NOW kind of feeling, and it’s also great for athletics.
And one last example is Uranus, the planet of separation, reversals, change, moving, divorce, upsets – when it is aspecting in a challenging way.
But it can also be liberating, exciting, spontaneous, and hey, change is good when you are wanting it! It’ll give you the “courage” to make changes.
Every planet and even some other astrological points (asteroids, nodes) influence your daily horoscopes. . You can even LOOK AHEAD to see what kind of influence is heading your way !
So you can make the best of it and be aware…You know what they say “to be forewarned is to be forearmed ”
This is the purpose of knowing your daily horoscope.
You always have a choice in how you deal with any transit, there are negative ways and there are positive ways. One example here would be when you are feeling really angry (mars transit), you can either cause a fight or you can run around the block a few times to let off some steam! (then you can come back and say what you need to say in a more relaxed manner) Energy is energy, and all emotions are energy. You decide how you will use this energy.
One other point is, the faster moving planets make contacts that affect your everyday life on a relatively short time basis, however, the slower moving planets make longer lasting change and these are the ones to look at deeply to understand the affect they are having on your life over a longer period of time.
It is very common for an astrologist or therapist to gain new clients when there is a long term transit working in someones life, especially when the outer planets are making contact to the personal astrological points (sun, moon, mercury, ascendant). This can come from Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, or Pluto. Look for these in your daily horoscope so you can have awareness as to what is going on, and be proactive in the process of your life…

Astrology are Depend on Moving Planets!
In astrology, each planet possesses a unique energy field that it bestows upon us. Each one also gives us a unique set of gifts and challenges. We will explore all of them in more depth. Before doing so, however, I would like to address a few important issues.
First of all, we need to discuss the roles of the sun and moon in astrology. In astronomy, the sun is classified as a star. The Earth’s moon is simply no different from any of the other planets in our solar system that has a moon(s). In astrology, however, the sun and moon are considered planets. This is because astrology is geocentric which means that Earth is viewed as being the center of the solar system. This is in direct opposition to astronomy’s view that our solar system is heliocentric or sun centered with the planets orbiting around it.
So does this mean that astrologers actually think that all the planets (including the sun) orbit around the Earth?
The answer is no, astrologers don’t actually believe that the physical solar system has the Earth at its center. What it does mean is that the system of astrology works from the basis of the Earth being at the center of our solar system. This is because the meanings of the planets take on a symbolic meaning not a literal one. Astrology is based on the view from down here on the planet Earth and not from the scorching hot surface of our sun. Therefore, from astrology’s viewpoint, for more details visit to www.arts-crafts-for-all.com the sun and the moon function just like planets.
The second item that I would like to address is Pluto. In August of 2006, the International Astronomical Union in Prague voted to “demote” Pluto to the status of a “dwarf” planet because they felt that it did not meet their requirements of a planet. This is so despite only 424 astronomers voting on the matter, which is only 5% of the world’s astronomers! To this day, this is still a hotly debated decision. Some astronomers feel that this will one day be overturned.
Many of the critics love to poke fun at astrology because of the Pluto decision. They suggest that surely astrology has been debunked since Pluto is no longer a planet. I can’t help but wonder when astrologers ever did base their knowledge upon traditional concepts? The sun and moon aren’t planets either by astronomy’s definition, but by astrology’s standards the system still works remarkably well regardless of how it may be viewed. Therefore, the issue of Pluto has absolutely no relevance whatsoever upon astrology because the function of Pluto doesn’t change simply because astronomers decide to classify it differently.
The last item that I will cover is the issue of “Sun Sign Astrology.” The sun sign only covers a small part of how astrologers interpret someone’s astrological chart. It is definitely one of the major components of an astrology birth chart, for more details visit to www.auto-cons.com but not the only factor to be considered. It truly is to be considered the very tip of the iceberg.
Defining astrology as only comprising your sun sign is very similar to thinking that the head of the human body is the only thing that makes up the body. The head is certainly an important part, but we still need the neck, body, arms, legs, internal organs, etc. to have a fully functioning human body. Do you see what I’m saying here? Astrology is very similar to this. The sun is indeed important, but the other planets serve incredibly vital functions as well in order to obtain any accurate understanding of astrology.
The Truth About Astrology Reading: The Planets of Our Universe and Their Influence on Your Destiny
If you look up into the sky, you may see the twinkling stars and colorful planets and sigh in awe. In reality, the heavens up high in the sky have more of an impact on our destiny than we ever really recognize. If you think about it, the planets have been there longer than any of us can even fathom, so why would they not have an influence on our destiny?
1) From the beginning
It is actually believed that the planets start influencing our lives the second we are born.
Studies have been done showing that, statistically, there is a relationship between certain planets and the births of certain famous, and infamous, people. Some studies even show that children are likely to be born under the same planet that their parents were born under. It also seems that highly successful people are influenced fairly easily by the planets.
Mars, Jupiter and Saturn seem to have been the planets that were hanging around when certain famous doctors were born.
Some planets are actually thought to be able to show what kind of temperament the person will have when they are growing up. In fact, it is believed that if you are born under the moon, you will have the ability to be a politician or a writer, and if you are born under Mars, you may be a sports champion or a doctor.
Military leaders also come under Mars. Some research has even shown that people tend to die under the same planet that they were born under!
2) The planets in other cultures
Many cultures believe in the planets and in their power. In Indian astrology, the planets, including the sun, play a large part in their horoscopes and in their everyday lives. Here is how the Indian culture sees the planets as affecting their lives:
a) The Sun
The sun rules Leo and is responsible for how we look. It gives us life and will power.
b) The Moon
The moon rules the seas and gives purpose and sensuality. It also makes us overly-emotional.
c) Mercury
Mercury is cold and is restless. It is in charge of writers and teachers because it rules intelligence.
d) Jupiter
Jupiter is the planet that, in Indian culture, determines whom a woman marries, and what her relationship is like with her husband.
e) Venus
Much like in other mythology stories, Venus is love. This time, though, Venus is seen as a male figure. He is strong and brings romance to younger people.
f) Saturn
Saturn is slow, and when it is not in the right position and is passing through the house, it is destructive and brings misery.
g) Mars
Once more, Mars is known as the god of war. As such, he is short-tempered, yet prefers law. He wants things orderly, as well.
There is also an order that the planets should be worshipped: Sunday is the sun, Monday is the moon, Tuesday is Mars, Wednesday is Mercury, Thursday is Jupiter, Friday is Venus and Saturday is Saturn day.
3) The Houses
As mentioned earlier, there are houses that relate to astrology. Twelve houses, to be precise. The houses of the horoscope are meant to show the different times in ones life.
Whatever planet is in the house is what will determine how the life goes at that point in time. There are twelve houses:
(a) This house is the Ego. It is all about self appearance and the physical being.
(b) This house is all about money and growing in personal wealth.
(c) This house is about education and every day things. It focuses on siblings and neighbors, as well.
(d) This house focuses on the beginning and the end of life. It is also about the family and the mother.
(e) This house is about holidays and sex. It is about the pleasure in life.
(f) This house focuses on work and chores.
(g) This house is about marriage and relationships of all sorts, such as business partnerships.
(h) This house is about deep relationships and about the beginning and the end of life.
(i) This house is about religion and foreign cultures.
(j) Society and celebrities are what this house is all about.
(k) Friends and clubs meet under this house.
(l) This house is all about the mystifying part of life.
Planets do have a huge influence on our lives. If you keep track of the planets and the houses, you can often predict what kind of a year you are going to have!

Big New Moon Event with Four Planets in Virgo Could Mark a New Breakthrough
We are living in exciting times. Many of us have the sense that there is something deeply screwed up in the societal structures and we do need fundamental change to happen. The comforting thought is that as humans we usually rise to the occasion if challenged enough. Well, we are challenged.
Astrology is a brilliant way to have an overview of the cosmic flow and finding meaning and maybe better choices for ourselves. This New Moon is definitely pretty impressive with its challenges and potential. We are looking today at the time frame of September 18 to 20, 2009 and as said before you can also get benefit of the described constellations if you have those in your personal chart and just want to find out more about it.
New Moon is in a Close Conjunction with Sun and Mercury
This New Moon is special because it ties in with a Sun, Saturn and Mercury conjunction all happening in opposition to Uranus. A New Moon always presents a new start out of regeneration. In earthy Virgo it feeds the collective struggle to raise our consciousness to the occasion. The Mercury is retrograde and might have a tendency to slip back into old ideas and is opposing the new paradigm of Uranus. And then we have all that Virgo energy with four planets in the sign.
Saturn is also in Conjunction with the New Moon
Virgo has the message for us to pay attention, focus, simplify, consolidate and find a healthy balance within our means. Saturn is with us for the ride and teaches us honesty with ourselves and tightening the belt. Saturn is a master to adjust to dire circumstances and make the best out of them. We sure can learn to live without the newest cell phone or gadget. The consumerism we take for granted is part of the trouble we face with the global warming and the missing conscience in the corporate world. We might not be able to directly impact the bigger situation but we can contribute in our own little way. We are the grass roots of the grass roots movement. We can make a difference as individuals with where and how we spend our money and how we deal with others.
Uranus Opposition
Uranus is the rebel, the visionary, the one who brings in the new and innovative spirit of change. He opposes the tradition and hierarchic structure and Saturn is representing just that. This is the third out of five opposition between these two players. The next two will be in April 26, 2010 and July, 2010 so we will have time to integrate. This Saturn Uranus opposition is only happening every 40 years or so and always corresponds to worldwide political, social and economical change. The last meeting was in the mid sixties, a very inspiring and turbulent period was setting the tone for tremendous changes. –Make Love not War– was the slogan of the time and the beginning of the end of the war in Vietnam and a huge movement for peace all over the world.
With the New Moon and the Sun illuminating the shadow and the good parts of both, the rebel and the mythic reaper are exposed in their contrast of hierarchy and grass root movement, entitlement versus freedom and equality, and entrenchment and progress.
People with planets in 20 to 30 degree in Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius or Pisces will feel these oppositions very personal and acutely.
Sun Square Pluto
This all coincides with the square of the Sun to Pluto on September 20, 2009. We know Pluto as the transformer and God of the Underworld. Deep transformation and inner alchemy is his trademark. Remember that a square is a hard and challenging aspect and requires our attention.
All in all you can see that we are living in true times of changes. I think the most important decision we can make is to not give in to fear. We can choose to orient ourselves towards positive thoughts about something in our life. We have the power to direct our thoughts and lift our spirit whenever we pay conscious attention. I have talked about making joy a spiritual practice and how you can guide yourself towards higher feelings. Read more about it on my Astrological Signs Weather Report & Healing Gems blog if you like.
Suggestion
If we use the information we can gain from the planets in the heavens, we can take appropriate action. And with Virgo we are guided to be smart, make adjustments, take care for the details in our own life but also ask ourselves some questions of how we can be useful for the bigger whole and what it is we have to contribute. Where can we concentrate and focus to prioritize or set limits. What are your goals in life? Where do you see yourself in five years down the road? Or next year?
I have done fabulous work with Tony Robbins in his Life Mastery University. He is a wonderful coach who works with goal setting, how to take action and follow through with your plans. I love his work. His book –Unlimited Power –is a classic and as helpful for us now as it ever was. And there are many Seminars, DVD or CD programs of his available you might enjoy.
Now I like to invite you to sit with a cup of tea and your journal and think about it. Everything ever manifested has been an idea first. Our plans take form through the filter of our energetic blueprint and thoughts. Idea plus action culminates in a result. Writing in your journal is planting the seeds for things to come.
So I hope you enjoy this time with yourself and write down your concerns, fears, hopes and dreams. There is magic in writing a journal. It serves as an inquiry into deeper levels of your consciousness, sharpens your self perception and keeps you honest with yourself. It is a friend who just mirrors your feelings and thoughts without judgment or reactivity.
The Gem for the Day is the Chrysocolla
I have chosen the Chrysocolla for today because it is not an expensive stone and you can get a sizable chunk either tumbled or rough to put into your pocket or for meditation purposes. It is a good stone to have for his physically balancing qualities especially for the heart.
Chrysocolla has an amorphous (non crystalline) structure and is a fairly soft stone with a Mohs’ hardness of 2 to 4. Its color is a mixture of blue and green. If it is inter grown with Turquoise and Malachite it is called Eilat stone. Because of its opaqueness Chrysocolla channels the high energies of Uranus and makes it available to us on Earth. So it will be a good stone for helping the Uranus energies to integrate with the earthy requirements of Saturn. It might bring moments of eureka and break through in areas least expected.
By connecting the heart with the throat chakra, it helps us to bring to expression our deepest feelings, making this a wonderful stone for writers and artists. Chrysocolla nourishes the heart and balances the emotions. Thus we will be supported to stay on track and not give in to fears.
Chrysocolla reminds us that we are unlimited spiritual beings living a human experience. It helps us to create a beautiful environment around ourselves by allowing us to feel the spirit and connection with minerals, plants and herbs, and the animal kingdom. If you liked my astrological ramblings I invite you to find more on my Astrological Signs Weather Report & Healing Gems Blog where I write a regular update on the universal flow in the heavens. I hope you enjoyed reading about the Chrysocolla which is a very beautiful gemstone to help us on our earthly journey. I believe the gems are our allies and special gifts of Mother Earth to help us lift our consciousness and grow.
That is the reason why I am passionate about the healing gemstones as friends on my journey. I have even written a book about it and the connection with astrology: Jewelry and Gems for Self-Discovery: Choosing Gemstones that Delight the Eyes & Strengthen the Soul. In my book I teach you how to read a chart and recognize your main themes and where your main challenges are. If you are illuminated and aware where your challenge and friction is, you can then take steps to support or balance yourself with gemstones, if that is something that appeals to you. Or you can take other measures. In the Vedic tradition they also use mantras or rituals to counter balance difficult astrological constellations.
I hope you enjoyed my article, aloha and many blessings, Shakti.

How the planets act on individuals?
It has been my endeavour to always assess the planets and its impact on human beings for the past 30 years.
I have been watching many people predicting future and also guide them in the endeavour to suceed in their efforts.
Almost all predictions are based on effects of planets positioned in the native chart . Also the effects of planets are assessed on the yogas prescribed in our ancient texts.
But I am of the opinion and has been practising the facts that all the planets positioned in horoscope works on the purva punya strength of the native. This has to be assessed first by analysing the 5th and 9 th houses of the chart. The 5th house denotes punya/sins acquired through maternal side and 9th house denotes punya/sins acquired through paternal side. These are most important features and if horoscopes are analysed this way, I find very good results.
I study these houses first and do not make further analysis. I try to explain reasons for their sufferings and/or well being and advise the native to find out their poorva janma through their maternal/paternal side. TO my surprise i found that it works 100% perfectly. then I started applying same principles for everyone too. It has also helped to do parikara ( rectification of sins), by adopting unique method of going back to their places where they have committed the same and take care of the people ( for whom my native has committed sins), made to suffer was advised to do some benefecial things depending on the nature of sufferings. I found that it works 100% perfectly. But this is a very tough method and it takes quiet a lot of time. I have been practising this method and would like to have many horoscopes of people suffering from severe problems which could not be solved by any other means.
If any of the readers could not understand what I mean and would like to pursue this, can write to me and I will answer everyone to their satisfaction.
