the world is not going to end in 2012 the mayans calendar predicts that the sun will get to its hottest and destroy earth but every 200,000 years the sun does get to its hottest thats a fact but the WORLD WILL NOT END!!!

i dont care when the earth will end but i do know 2+2=4 lol

The end of the world has been a part of culture for centuries and no matter what truth you tell people, there will always be some nut who starts something and it turns into a huge deal only to be dubunked later. The end of the world has been predicted SO many times that its a joke now. I say just live every day to the fullest. IF something like this is gonna happen its gonna happen and there’s nothing you can do to stop it.. so don’t worry over something you have no control over.

If I were you I wouldn’t pay much attention to Nostradamus because chances are you read twisted versions of his predictions, people change what he says so much that its definitely not a reliable source of anything. I mean he actually has “predicted” the end of the world many times, and obviously he wasn’t right.

The mayans and nostradamus NEVER said that the world was going to end in 2012. Nostradamus said that the world was going to end in the year 7000! not 2012!!!. good lord i read his books and it even said it in the text (7000 the sun will grow old and burn the earth). : (

Also, the Mayan calendar actually doesn’t belong to the Mayans. It was used many times PRIOR to their existence. Oh, and another thing, in the Mayan culture, there IS NO CONCEPT OF APOCALYPSE. Another inconsistency with this theory? Let’s see, the fact that idiots originally thought that the doomsday date was the year 2000, the month of may in 2003, and finally they decided since they still want to get attention, they pushed it to 2012

Look people, the Mayan calendar’s days are known as “The Long Count”, which means the Mayan calendar is approximately 5112 years long. At the end of the Long Count, it starts over again. December 21st, 2012, is the day the Long Count ends. On the Mayan calendar, THAT MEANS IT STARTS OVER AGAIN. THAT IS ALL. Good god, people are stupid.

It will be a time of great tribulations. My advice is to read your bibles and get close to God because he loves us all. Im not perfect, i can take my own advice as well. But with trust in faith in God we have nothing to fear.

not gonna happen, this movies entertaining and all but the whole world ending in 2012 thing isnt gonna happen. I like how they removed my comment from this video because it was true. THIS IS BULLSHIT. The Mayan prophecy is the GALACTIC ALIGNMENT, not just the sun earth and the center of the milky way galaxy. It is impossible for them to align perfectley every year due to the planets orbital time cycles. 3 examples which i’ll state AGAIN. Remove my comment i’ll just keep posting you cowards. Earths time to orbit the Sun: 365 days, Mercury: 87.9 Earth days. Jupiter: 11.7 earths YEARS. You do the math.
