i think you think the same as i am , if the mayans are CAN really predict, then why their culture or as you say civillisation has been extinct with no disrespect. Well , Christ suppose to come on earth on 2000, then what happen. Its also a sighificant because it was the Year Of The Dragon, the most powerful symbol in chinese mythology. See you in 2013 BYE !!

in all the documentary’s I’ve watched everybody says how the Maya’s predict a big change and a new age, nobody said the Maya predicted something bad is going to happen. Something is just going to change, it are the researchers who say something bad is going to happen.

I wish the mayans were still around. Who knows how much more they could have contributed to civilization had the Spanish stayed in their on country. The aztecs and the inca, too. All cut down in their prime.

Its pretty amazing how the mayans could predict the suns track 1500 years ahead of the mayans end of civilization. Only acouple of years left till the world sees if mayan calender end in 2012. Something amazing is going to happen but who knows.
